When it comes to trusted advice, David’s friends and family know he’s the one to turn to, whether it’s advice on a personal or financial matter or even cruise vacations, which he’s been doing since the early 90s.
David’s insight and advice are highly valued at Darwin Trust as well. As senior vice president, he brings years of experience in client service and communication to the team. He enthusiastically anticipates the needs of our clients and leads our “100% service” philosophy. In addition to his client services role, David also oversees the Darwin Trust compliance efforts.
David has 35 years’ experience in the financial industry, including 20 years specific to fiduciary trust. Prior to joining Darwin Trust Company, David enjoyed a 2-year tenure at First Financial Trust, N.A., a 17-year tenure at Cambridge Appleton Trust, N.A. (a subsidiary of Cambridge Savings Bank & Appleton Partners, Inc.), and a 15-year tenure at Cambridge Savings Bank in retail banking, consumer lending and marketing. David is a graduate of the Trust Professional Program of the Cannon Financial Institute, a trust college located in Athens, Georgia, and received a CEA in management skills and techniques from the Center for Financial Studies at Fairfield University. He has a license for radio broadcasting from the Federal Communications Commission and is actively involved in his community as a minister. A resident of North Cambridge, he is the uncle to three nephews and a niece, and the proud owner of a 20-pound Maine Coon cat named Charlie.
