Founder of Avalon Associates, Inc., John has provided a broad range of professional services to Fortune 1000 companies, including strategy formulation, product and business development, and merger and acquisition services. Prior to Avalon, John spent 15 years with these companies: Braxton Associates (now Deloitte Consulting) as director, EDS Management Consulting as partner, Xerox Corporation as vice president and Polaroid Corporation as inventor. He received a BS in electrical engineering from MIT and an MBA from Boston University. He is an angel investor in start-up companies and volunteers at the MIT Venture Mentoring Service.
