Kathy has a 365° understanding of trusts, having administered them in bank, private fiduciary office and large law firm settings. Her vast and varied experience provides her with a unique perspective that allows her to better understand and serve her clients.
As vice president and senior trust officer, Kathy is responsible for client services for all new and existing Darwin Trust relationships and the review of all trust documents. She also chairs the Trust Administration Committee. She brings 35 years’ experience building client-family relationships, and uses her keen knowledge of trusts and estate planning to carry out clients’ objectives with compassion and personalized service.
Before joining Darwin Trust, she was a probate attorney with Gosselin & Kyriakidis, PC handling estate settlement, trust administration, guardianships, conservatorships and real estate transactions. Previously she was a senior trust administrator in the Private Client Group at Ropes & Gray LLP and a trust administrator at Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge in Boston. She received a BA in English and communications from Boston College and a JD from Suffolk University Law School. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. She also is a Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP). Kathy served in various volunteer positions with the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts: as a former member of the board of directors, the finance committee and the board development committee. Kathy lives in Winchester, where she was born and raised, and has one son. She enjoys attending Boston College football games with her family and coaching her niece’s Winchester Youth Basketball team.
